CONTINUING THE SOC 2 JOURNEY

Already holding SOC 2 attestation, CloudZero was on the journey to continued security and privacy. Largely driven by knowledge and experience that SOC 2 continues to be the standard most companies are looking at for security, CloudZero started their next audit period, intending to achieve their attestation as soon as possible.
 
“When we started looking for an audit firm, we knew we wanted someone who took SOC 2 seriously and understood modern serverless infrastructure while ensuring we were held to the highest security standards,” said Sean.

GETTING STARTED WITH ASSURANCELAB

CloudZero came to AssuranceLab with the task of achieving their next SOC 2 as soon as possible. Combining this deadline with differing time zones and unforeseen changes to compliance tools, CloudZero had some understandable concerns about the feasibility of the deadline. When raising these concerns with AssuranceLab, Sean felt that “all concerns were heard and addressed. When it came to working across time zones, this worked in CloudZero’s favor. Being based in the US and having the sales and audit team in EMEA, there was enough crossover for collaboration without either party being impacted. When Sean and the team came online, there was a clear list provided by AssuranceLab (who had worked during the EMEA Day). This gave the CloudZero team an efficient list and enabled them to plan their day.
